Just living day by day, same as usual.
Nothing changes, nothing exciting.
But it's been said that there's nothing new under the sun.
Even things that are considered new
Has been seen by something or someone at some point.
Nothing is really original
Until you explore underneath the surface.
Is this life of complacency good,
or is it bad?
Walking through every day of life
Without a change in tempo.
Running away from the questions that need answers.
Falling into the traps that are so cleverly disguised...
That's all way too easy.
It's like an old attic,
With layers of dust.
A mass of junk, accumulated by generations of hoarders.
No one bothers to seek change,
Because it's just too burdensome.
But when someone steps out with the desire to change,
And all that is built up is carefully removed,
Set aside as frivolous,
A treasure is uncovered.
A treasure that will be handed down through generations,
And cherished forever.
That's what life should be like.
